Matthew Hart, age 38, of Wareham, was caught driving south on the northbound side of the highway when he almost hit a police cruiser that was working a construction detail, New Hampshire State Police said. This happened around 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12.

Hart then randomly stopped in the middle of I-89 and was subsequently arrested for DWI and felony reckless conduct with a motor vehicle, police said. His passenger, Anna Mattin, age 39, of Va., was also taken into custody "due to her impairment level," according to police.
